im just wondering what you guys did with you pcv, im sure mines stock and still running to the top intake, which ive read isn't good on boosted cars, and im seeping oil out of the drain plug and filter area pretty good, i'm running over -20 @ idle , i unhooked it from the intake and it went down to around -13 - -16 and seems to be running a little better at idle...? what should i do from here?

my idea is to run a line from the pcv (new) to a catch can and then from the catch can to the intake?

I have -10 AN hose running from both valve covers that just run to open atmosphere. Similar to having just breathers on the valve covers. I then just plugged the port on the intake manifold. Plans down the road is to just run a breather type catch can.

i only have a breather on the oil cap..... the other valve cover doesn't have a outlet, that's where i came with the idea to just just a breathable catch can after the pcv valve through the catch and and into the intake manifold

i just took it out with the line unhooked from the pcv to the intake manifold..... whole different car, spools up way faster, turbo sounds way louder, pulling waaaaaay harder, in between shifts its not falling to way low vac and falling on its face trying to build boost back up through shifts like it was, its deff a way diff car, but i do know running like this isnt right, but i think i was building up too much vac in the system with no relief, so the catch ca should sholve some of this ? what should i be looking at for - vac number at idle?

Threw the valve in the trash, car just has a couple -10 AN fittings in the valve covers now which will run to a catch can.

how do i plug that hole back there? i just assume keep it in there and run it to a catch can with a breather on it and back to the upper intake

You can do it either way, run the catch can as an open breather setup or run it back to a vacuum source similar to what it would have been factory. Now the difference here is the only true full time vacuum source is on the compressor inlet side of the turbo. It's no longer the intake manifold as it will be under positive pressure while in boost, you can leave the PCV valve in there and "trust" that it will keep the flow one direction but I wouldn't. As soon as that valve fails you'll be pressurizing the valve covers and will eventually lead to bad news for you.

So either run the valve covers (with or without PCV valves) to a breather catch can or run the valve covers to a pressurized catch can that is held to vacuum using the inlet to the compressor.

so plug it with that and run it to a breathable catch can then from the catch can back to the upper intake that will work??? or will it not stay under vac?

as of now, mine has a oil cap breather, with the other port capped on it , stock(i think) pcv to a "T" one off the t going under the upper intake and the other going to the back corner of the upper intake....

breathable catch can is on the way, how should i do it? what should i cap off and what should i run my catch can to ?

i guess im just going with the super coupe pcv to a breather can to a one way check valve back to the intake.... and leaving the breather on the oil cap, hope it works...... coated my hood with oil yesterday......
