PI Heads found, quick question

I found heads, off a 99 expedition and says has no problems. They're PI..I heard these will fit. 150 bucks for both. Should I grab them or not.??

They'll fit, but they might not be PI

i think the f-series and the expedition started using the PI heads right around the same time the mustang did, but i would ask for pictures first. the f150 PI heads are the same when it comes to the CC chamber, but the intake ports are still the same as the NPI intake ports (for torque). im not sure if the expedition used the truck heads or the passanger car heads.

like i said, i would ask for pictures first, just to make sure you dont end up with the truck PI heads.

I'm using F150 5.4L PI heads in my car now. They're the same thing. I didn't think that they used PI heads in '99's, though.

Well..is anyone for SURE these are PI heads. I asked to see another picture of them, needing the stamp picture on the actual heads..
But I need to know because I'm about to click "Buy it now".

yes.. those are pi heads. the ports are more square.. If they were npi heads, the ports would be round.

Doesn't matter, the auction includes valve cover's.

A couple bolts are different. People keep saying the gasket's are different, but if they are, it's in a way that doesn't matter, because both my head's were Windsor's (I hate the stupid ccam girdles, where are they going anyway?) and I never cared which gasket I used.

Those are Windsor PI heads/cams. ALL 5.4's and 4.6 heads that are PI's are the same, including cams. Trucks cars SUV etc.The way they perform is denoted by the intake, not anything internal in the heads. And yes, thats a good deal.
