Hi guys, ...

I'm a 5.0 guy, and wasn't sure on this one. I'm doing a PI intake swap on my friends 96 GT, and don't think i will have the time to get the correct metal tube that goes in the block valley. Has anyone just ran a rubber heater hose instead? Thanks for any input. :eek:ccasion14:

Yes, I have heard of this being done during a PI swap. Must use fuel line quality re-inforced hose though w/ dual clamps at each end.
Even then, I don't know if I would do it on mine.

They are pretty expensive for a little tube, but yeah that's probably the best bet. I personally wouldn't take the chance with something else, but its not your car, so who cares lol
