I'm not in love with it yet. Dude wants around a 1000 for the wheels and tires. Wheels are in good shape though. I'd need to space the rear out to be more flush with the quarter, but a 1" wheel lip on the bottom side of the quarter limits me. Plenty of inner room though. I want the back of the car down on the ground, hence my change to 18's. Haven't bought these yet, simply borrowed one to see how it looks.

Brakes are potentially going to go from factory drum to 11.65" cobra disc. The factory stuff is shot. Cars not sitting down, but I think the colors match well/design.

If the 70 was lower and you had bigger brakes in the rear then it would look sweet. but idk i would have to see the car sit on the ground to get the whole effect. i do like the silver and orange contrast.

That looks pretty sweet but I'd agree on wanting it out a bit more. How big are these new tires?

I like em, 275 isn't too small. It ought to look pretty sweet slammed down. I can't wait to get my 67 further down to the ground. The donk look it's got right now pisses me off.

325 50 15's are whats on the car now. Hence whats on the right. I just want the car to handle. Not look like a pro-street

how do they fit on the front?

I envy you i'm struggling to get a 245 under the front of my '67 and 275's are going to be crammed in the back unless I widen the fender.

I'm fitting a 245 up front without any big issues in my 67. Once I get the fenders rolled, I'll be set. Right now I'm smacking em in really odd angles like pulling into the pasture our shop is in but thats it.

I can say thankfully the 69/70's have less fitment woes for later model wheels. My main concern is clearing the front ball joint/Upper control arm. I'm going to be messing with that in a bit and seeing what happens.

So I couldn't wait. I went ahead and tryed it. I have a 1/4 of space with a 1/2" spacer surprisingly to the upper. The actual track width isn't far off. It seems like 1" adapter style spacers all the way around would really make everything fit well...

Rears I could always change studs, by billet spacers. Front I'd need adapters because of the 1 piece rotor and hub. I will be happy when I get my coil over/SN95 spindles on this thing. I took a photo of the gap I had with the suspension compressed but apparently my phone decided it wasn't worthy enough to save.

I have manual steering to.. 275/35 on all corners will NOT be fun to steer with a small steering wheel and no power steering

nice Steven! that is a good price for those.

I can see my rotors through these things tip: - take off your rotors, and spray the hat area with high temp bbq paint (after cleaned)
this will keep them from rusting and looking good.

they really show through those wheels (I know )
