anyone know why exactly the "coral" backed out of the race?

i was looking forward to this. kinda sucks to have a mustang back down against the bow tie guys.

a friend of mine told me about that, they were supposed to race at KCIR, about 40 min from my house, but i believe that the
corral car was having a lot of problems. i also heard that SVT performance brought a car, and it was a little faster than the LS1
car, so the LS1 guys backed out of a race too. although 10.50 is fuckin fast, i wonder what the SVTP car was, and how fast that
thing would run.
