Is anyone running Probe Forged SRS pistons? How good are they and what can they stand? Are they a good Boost pistons and what rings do yall recommend to run with them in boost applications? And i know i asked before and i didnt get much feed back, what head gaskets are good for a S-trim setup....Thanks

Probe srs are fine for boost. Just make sure you use a dished piston.

As far as rings. I am a big fan of total seal. Excellent quality.

As far as head gaskets are concerned you have 3 options with fel-pro.

You have the basic fel-pro which I would not use.

The felpro 9333pt-1 which is a permatorque gasket, good stuff autozone carries them and work well with boost/spray.

Then you have the felpro mls gaskets that are top of the line big boost/power that are also good but are pricey. Like $40 a gasket.

As far as the oil pump I would just go with a nice melling from autozone. No need for hi-flow etc. That is all overrated. Same with a windege tray. Unless it is custom built for your motor. It is worthless.

Your probably going to want to buy a crank kit. The last time I rebuilt my 92 LX I went to my local parts shop and told them I need a crank kit.

It was $150 and it was a fresh rebuilt polished Ford crank and Clevite bearings to match with it.
