Ok I am doing a Fobra swap on my Gt. Before anyone says that I am a poser I want to state that I don't really care. It is my car and I'll do with it the way I want. It's my hard earned money and not yours. Plus I am in the process of building a 306 with forged pistons,Gt40x heads, dual valve springs,1.6 roller rockers,F303 cam, Double roller timing chain,BBK shorty headers into a BBK offroad H pipe. Anyways...I put a cobra front bumper on my car the other day, it isn't lining up correctly though. The bumper appears to be sagging. Also my drivers side headlight looks to be pushed out more than the passangers. The bumper support is mangled so I am waiting on a new one to come in soon. The car was hit in the fron on the passanger side if that helps any. Does anyone have a idea on what is going on?

As long as you don't throw Cobra badges on it, I could care less what bumper it's rocking.
Anyways, you answered it yourself if your bumper support is f'ed up. Replacing your header panel can close the bumper/hood gap but youre bumper support will need to be fixed for sure.

Oh I don't even want that snake emblem on it. I'd rather have a pony. But until I get one I am rocking it becaus eI don't want that big gapping hole on it. I just seen where people get mad for other people having a cobra front on because thier car is a V6 or a Gt.

So you think my new support and a new header would fix my problem?

No one here gets mad at people having cobra fronts on their car, it's the best looking front bumper cover for our cars, it's when people put snakes on is when things get heated :p. +1 to the header panel, that or you a VERY crappy quality piece...

does anyone have any pictures of the front bumper on with the headlights removed? i put a new bumber on mine and it's not as bad as the pics above but just bellow the headlights there is a gab between the bumper and lights. when i look in the gap there are the bottoms of the headlight housing, then the plastic bellow the lights then the bumper is bellow that tab. is the bumper cover suposed to mount inbetween the headlight and that panel bellow or beneath the panel bellow the headlights????

hope that makes sense. . . .

Like I said, I don't want that snake on there. I wish I had a pony :( but my buddy had this laying around so I threw it on there so I don't have that big hole until I buy a pony emblem

loosen up the headlight support and move it around for the headlight prob. for the sagging loosen up the whole bumper and get it where u want it and hold it there while tightening the upper bolts first. if that doesn't help look at ur absorber and the bar behind it and see if anything is bent or not right. hope that helps and wanna trade grille emblems i has a pony on my cobra and i wants a cobra :)

When my headlights did'nt fit correctly I found out it was one or both of two things. The headlight itself was manufactured wrong and or the fiberglass or plastic bracket that holds the headlight on is warped...yes warped. Over time they freakin warp. If you replace one or both your headlights will look back to showroom floor condition again.

When i took off my bumper, without headlights, you see the header panel with the bumper underneath by the headlights. The bumper has 3 tabs that get put into the header panel.
