Got a question. I was checking craigs list today and ran across these pony rims. I call the guy and he said there 15's? he aslo said they have 225/50/tires on them. He said they were off a 94 mustang not sure if it was a v6 or a v8. I want to get some MT slicks to swap out for the track. Whats the biggest slick I could put on these rims? http://desmoines.craigslist.org/pts/1700540856.html

Those are 15s, they were a v6 wheel, but I don't think they started using those wheels until at least 99... I'm pretty sure
all the 94-98 v6s with alum wheels came factory with the 3 spoke ones... As far as tire sizes go, a lot of people are
running a 275/60/15, which is a pretty beefy size, and shouldn't cause any rubbing issues.

Thanks for the replys. So a 275 tire would fit these rims then? I talked him into just selling me 2 without tires for a good deal.

If oyru going track wheels keep looking those are WAYYYYYYYYY to clean ol You can find some for 50 bucks normall with a lil chip or scratch or even a little run out.

I have the 3 spoke with a "slot" for my MT ET Slicks and they work great, hell I didnt even balance them, tossed the rubber on there and went to the track.

I did some more research and sounds like 275's would be overkill. Im gonna get some mt et radials 255-60-15. Thanks for the help all!

I found some 3 slot v6 rims for $55. Thanks for the offer though. Im getting ready to order some tires. I dont know what I should go with? I was thinking m/t et radials. Now im thing maybee a full slick like m/t et slicks in a 26-8.5-15? Any input?
