What would be the best choice for forced induction on a 5.0 with H/C/I, injectors, MAF, fuel pump, and CAI. what are the pros/cons of KB, vortech, procharger and turbos

That website is SOOO effing dumb! "It's pointless to build a powerful N/A Combo" They dont say what superchargers and turbos do to your engine's life though. Forced induction into anything is bad, good power but bad for the engine. My cousin's 11.2 Mustang only uses a 75 shot of nitrous on a N/A motor... Man I want to kill who ever wrote that article!

This statement is also "effing dumb." A properly tuned blown/turbo motor will last just as long as a naturally aspirated motor. There are many, many examples of this in OEM applications all over the world.

Factory ones like what Subaru does are usually decent. Heck, my buddy's GSX eclipse's turbo is dieing(he has lost 4 PSI from stock) and it runs almost as good as my car and has 230k on it. Just from what I have seen, MOST people just slap a turbo on and expect to put down 100hp+ without upgrading everything for the higher compression ie; stock pistons, rods etc.

Again, it's all in the tune and in this case, the power output. My friend Harold has the old Incon 800 TT kit on his car since it came out who knows how long ago. It was on a stock bottom end 302 with h/c/i and it lasted tens of thousands of miles and many years until he finally pulled it off to build a 408.

Of course a motor will blow up if you don't build it properly, but that's not the blower/turbo's fault - it's the dumb owner. You can put down over 400 hp all day long on a stock bottom end and not worry about it if your tune is correct.

I know! Back in the day right?!?!?

I remember when having an e-cam, GT40 heads/intake and a nitrous kit made you pretty much the baddest guy in town.

Hah! J302s! I forgot about those!

In the late 90s (I think) a friend of mine had a XX-trim blower on his 306 and he was completely unbeatable on the street.

My best friend bought his first Mustang in 1982, and he was a killer on the street with his shorty headers and a 150 shot. LOL

I had a 175 shot wet kit on my 1987 Lincoln Mark VII when I was in high school. It was epic. You should've SEEN the one-tire-fire I could do in that thing. LMAO. Good times.
