Hey fellas most of you know what I have in my car so my 72 style mustang power steering pump I had line made for it to go to my rack and pinion and bled the system and it isnt taking fluid so I assume all the air is out of it as I turned the car knock to knock like 40 times lol wore me out! but at idle it loses power steering idle around 800-1000 rpm talked to Summit about it and they said It shouldnt matter how low the idle is it should have power steering but when I rev it I get power steering back .. Any ideas from anyone ?

I'm not sure . It's a march performance pulley for this engine I would assume its correct , pump could be bad problem is there isn't any more of these 72 mustang pumps left now at all . March doesn't have any cores , derale doesn't have any , summit can't get one cause all their mfg don't have cores . Auto parts stores don't have any only option might be a junkyard but around here they usually don't have that stuff or won't let u take it . Can a pump be bad if it works at higher idle and not lower ?
