Hey guys. Names Logan. Picked up this 95 GT about 8 months ago, and its finally time to start turning her into the dream I have.

First things first, the name. Blood Diamond, obviously its a play on the color. Also, when people think of blood diamonds they think of conflict and war. Another point is the rarity, this body style was only produced for 4 years. There is not exactly a ton of them out there, and even less in good condition.

Plans for the car:

Engine:
331 stroker from Coast High Performance. I already have this engine sitting in my garage, just needs to be cleaned, painted, and installed.
Upgraded clutch
Upgrade the trans when it pops same with rear end
T70 tubo
3 core radiator
Moats quarterhorse used with binary editor
Powdercoated/painted engine, heads, valve covers, upper and lower intake

Body:
Two tone paint (Goes to the shop tomorrow for paint) - DONE
NO SHINY PARTS ANYWHERE EXCEPT THE RIM LIPS - ALMOST DONE
Megan racing carbon fiber drag spoiler
Custom extractor hood designed and built by me
Mach1 chin spoiler with a carbon fiber lip underneath that
Smoked projector headlights and fogs - DONE
Smoked and painted horizontal GT tail lights -DONE

Suspension/Rims/Brakes:
H&R super sport 2" springs
KYB struts and shocks adjustable
Eibach quad shocks
Eibach sway bars
upgraded bushings
19x8.5 and 19x10.5 TSW Volcano tires in 245/40 and 265/40

Interior:
Seats are already done leather and tan suede
Dash is going to get gauges for teh 331
Short shifter
Stereo is already done minus the subwoofer, (I already have all the parts for the sub ready to be installed)
LEDs in gauge cluster and HVAC = done
Add a few more billett pieces already have gauge surrounds, hvac controls, door handles, locks.

Here is a photoshop I did of the finished project minus shaving a few items, and doing the headlights.

And here are the pics of how she sits now.

Here is the engine waiting for cleaning and paint work.

Here is a pile of stuff for the subwoofer install.

Here is a video of a 3D model of the box I am going to build. Yes its to scale. Yes it fits on the passenger floor behind the passenger seat.

Holy SH*T! That thing looks sick, saw it on FB didn't know you were a member on here lol. Air suspension is gonna be really cool on a fast car like yours that you're building. There's a few on here, Tony, and ttocs that have air suspension so they're gonna love this lol. I really dig the two tone you came up with, and shaved handles just add to the sickness. Good luck with it! Can't wait to see it finished

Bagging SN95s is starting to look real good! I agree with Belber on the wheels, leave them all black. For a bagged SN I really think you need to have a better wheel choice though. Something like an HRE wheel.

oh, and if you're sending it to paint, you might want to consider getting a new hood and a cobra bumper while your at it.. might as well :dontknow:

Umm they were made for more than 2 years. 94-98 all the same. Just diff tail lights is all thats really different between the 94-95 and 96-98.

First there was one bagged mustang on here, now it seems they keep multiplying. LOVE IT!!!! I flush mounted my ridetech controller into an overhead conosol from an explorer that worked out pretty well. Put it in the spot where the dome light normally is.

Thanks guys.

Belber Im not doing a Cobra hood or bumper on this car. I have something else planned for the hood, and believe it or not I actually like the stock GT bumper with the chin spoiler. And as for right now only the top is being sprayed. The red is only 2 years old on the car. It will all get resprayed when the hood, spoiler, and shave work is done.

1997GT4.6 I do like the HRE wheels, and the wheel is not an absolute final choice, but I do like them. Downside...they are heavy as hell. I may change my mind when the funds are in the bank for wheels. I really like the HRE S107 and TR45s. Thanks for the suggestion.

Chris91, you are correct, but this exact body style was only 94-95. I was referring to the body shape not the SN platform.

Orange 94, yes that is my current interior as it sits today. Thanks for the compliment.

Ttocs, your car is awesome! I cant wait to actually get to the baggin part. I've owned and bagged more than a couple rides. Me and a group of guys on S10forum.com took a 2000 S10 from stock to layin frame on a 5 link in just under 48 hours. We set a forum record that to my knowledge hasnt been beaten yet. The owner of that truck is still rolling the same setup 6 years later.

Hondarocks61, Tony has already seen it on FB, and yeah he loves it too. The wheels look awkward because of the angle of the car, adn the fact that XXR962 is actually a hard rim to find decent photos of. Not to mention the amount of manipulation that went into making them look like they were on the car in that sunset. I spent roughly 2 hours on each wheel.

You sure don't mess around.

That 2 tone is gonna look tits when it's complete.

My only concern is those headlights. They're really heavily smoked. You're not worried about visibility issues at night?

They did get smoked a little more than Id have liked, but with the paint so fresh if its too much I will tell him to redo them lighter. I can see right through them in teh sunshine, and honestly ANYTHING is better than the one piece halos I had!
