Project O FO SHO......56k Warn *Updated 1/27/08*

Picked up my FORD OEM MOTOR today.. with some extra goodies some of you might know what kind of motor it is. 2V FTW. :afro:

if u dont know it came out of a 01 Saleen Sport (N/A) non S/C motor version..... this is my first motor swap....wish me luck and tips and pointers would be great.

Today we did a few things to get everything rolling....

Mounted 01 Motor To the Engine Stand Took off X pipe, Hood, Wire harness, fuel rails, jacked up the 98 GT on jack stands. this is gonna be a great experiance... more pics to come next week.

Build Date.

Trying to Jump Start it.

how many miles does the saleen motor have on it?? and your car looks like its dsg.. (dark satin green) ...another one like aarons lol

my car is DGS, 50k on the clock of the saleen. it will all get cleaned up and everything.

Flushing out the old coolant and any junk on the coolant system

Took off Oil Pan to take a closer look at the bottom end of the engine and nothing is cracked also cleaned the oil pan and got a new gasket

Not show but tranny is unbolted and everything is labled,

as you can see lots of painters tape so we dont scratch the paint or spill anything on it.

I would be removing that pic of flushing the engine from the web. That sucker will get you a huge fine.

Updated......

this week we took out driveshaft, tranny, starter, ground straps, a/c, power steering, coolant hoses, coolant overflow tank,

motor would of been out but we didn't have the right size socket for the mounts.

How can you get a fine? For the fluid going down the drain?!?
Only thing I can think of.
