need a better name for this thing.

2000 LX mustang, needs a lil work.

all the stuff that came with it(that's a full size truck bed, the only things in there non-mustang are the hoist and my trailer's spare tire).:

only two mods to car currently. the core support removal mod(weight reduction i guess). and the 20-valve bolt-on mod...i'm still not sure how ya squeeze 20 extra valves into something that only came with 12...that's 166% more valves!

core support just "hangin' out":

i've got my hands full. wiring, hydroboost lines, brake lines, a/c lines, cooling system, trans lines, etc to finish. gotta get as much as i can before welding in the core support, and the rest after. it's an auto so i can't/won't start the car until the trans system is working properly.

DAD racing seats from the cobra mysteriously appeared in this car. weird. fkg yard gnomes.
interior's almost done. just gotta figure out how to change the lock cylinders and inner door handles, do it, and then put door panels on. and gotta build a rear seat delete.

gotta order/find the 2 brake lines from the master cylinder to the distribution block, and some of the hydroboost line teflon seals.
gonna go w/o ABS. shell came with the lines for regular brakes and i have no desire to chase down parts to go ABS. the weight off the nose will help in the quarter anyway, which is what i'm setting this car more up for. cobra can be the twisty car. and this car has stock front brakes.

Sweet project man...you upgrading the rear end/suspension/brakes to handle the new motor?

car has mach rear in it. plan to do uppers and lowers in the rear, and likely install the bullitt springs i have sitting around, just because the 4x4 look sucks. staying with the stock PBR brakes up front and of course the mach rear has the bigger brakes. yes, my rear brakes are bigger than my front. lol.

why the hell would i want the 6'er engine? lol.

yep, that was the donor. with less than 10k miles. i never saw it, just got all the parts that i have, and what's already installed in the car(dash/ full harness).

put my nicer mach wheels on and de-spoilered. forgot how much nicer new edges look w/o spoilers...
interior almost done. once it warms back up, i've gotta figure out the door handles and lock cylinders swap over, do it, put the door panels on, and just build the rear seat delete. decided to go ahead and leave the mach 460 in. just don't feel like rewiring anything and i have all the components for a plug n play mach, so yeah, lazy. and it doesn't way all that much...

been trying to get to work on this thing, but keep getting side-tracked. got a few more parts ready to go on, as soon as i get time.

bought some black chrome saleens in poor shape. wheels are great, but the coating is peeling like crap. i'll run them until they just get too ugly, and then have them PC'd white. got lakewood lowers, my unknown uppers, and a 3:73 rear going in(had to steal the mach rear to put in my cobra to sell it).

might get back to work on this thing in the next couple weeks, now that rodeo is over. customer/money-maker cars come first.
