Re: Project "Super5.0Snake"
From what I saw the car
has no heat or a/c
a lot of missing wiring
needs new headlights and side markers
need bodywork and paint
need's a lot of interior work
and that's just what I quickly noticed but once all that is done you could have bought two of the same car in running condition...
Please tell me exactly where and how you think he can make $1500-$2000 parting out this car! i don't see it! but maybe you have a much better eye than i do! not ragging on your project, but you got alot of work ahead of yourself, you might want to consider trying to find another Sn95 with a blown efi engine, a better condition body, and a matching/clean interior, and swapping your good motor into the other car.... your gonna spend a fortune trying to bring this one back from the dead...BOS-94-003 said:I know your really excited about this car but that looks like a long and pricey resto. Being that you only have $500 in it have you considered parting it out? You could easily get 1500-2000 and flip that money into another one with less work. I'm all for your original plans but would hate to see you sink money into something then lose interest. I haven't drove my car in 2yrs now because of my resto and im only a 3rd of the way through it. On the other hand im older and in no hurry to get it out on the road again where as if i was younger id be half assing stuff just to get it driveable.
