I was driving behind a corvette the other day and noticed it had a sweet cutout in the middle of the rear bumper and then the exhaust pipes came out there. has anyone seen this on a sn95??

saleen did this on some of the new-edges. they struggled getting it on the road because the exhaust heats up the fuel, raising emmissions and reducing performance. but they succeeded.

You know all 97+ Vettes are like that right? At any rate 69clark has/had center exhaust with an aftermarket rear bumper

abcexclusive.com makes the bumper that onyx posted above. 69clark used it, its their gtr bumper. they also sell a rear tail pipe kit that gives you that look without actually having to have a irs.

would look pretty cool just have to make sure the pipe clears the fuel tank.. Our 04 saleen focus has that type of exhaust =]

I think instead Of a circular tip, it would look best with a more angle cut to them. So it flows better with the curve of the bumper.

Cool as it is, I'm not sure how two 90-degree bends are helping from a performance standpoint. I can respect the work that would go into it, though
