Question before dyno day

This saturday im going to a dyno day, its the first time im going to put my car on a dyno. I have a jlt cai, professional products plenum and 75mm tb, mac pro chamber, and a bassani catback. Should my air-fuel ratio be off? A lot of people have been telling me that it will be off and that if its off, the guy wont put it on the dyno for liability. The car has 15k miles on it and those mods arent anything extreme. Also, what type of power should I expect to be putting down to the wheels with those mods?

I really dont think it'll be off to the point where he won't put it on the dyno...its shouldn't be anyways, i really wouldn't sweat about it...and the numbers idk man it could vary...don't get your hopes up and then get low numbers and get dissapointed like i did lol...well let us know what numbers you put down...

Well from what I read about your car, it seems that your car had an "off" day so to speak. With those mods you should be pushing more to the wheels than that easily. I'll post them up when I get home, but im hoping to be in the 265-270 range but like you said, im not getting my hopes up lol

Oh yeah btw a guy in front of me when i got my car dynoed and tuned put down 263 rwhp and had very similar mods to yours and he was just as disapointed as i was lmao...

How much did it cost you to get your car tuned? A bunch of people have told me that theres no way to avoid spending around 300-400 dollars to have it tuned. its 50 bucks for 3 pulls at this dyno day but I thought about having it tuned, but if it breaks my bank im going to wait

i dont remember exactly what drew paid but it was more then 400 for the tune and dyno runs

When it comes to making numbers you will really just have to see what your car makes and go from there. I would assume your car is going to make around 250 rwhp probably. Whoever told you about the air/fuel ratio is completely wrong. Those mods that you are not going to throw off your a/f ratio that bad, the stock tune has some flexibility to it so your not going to throw it off that much. I ran with those mods on my car plus gears for over 2 years and never had a problem. Most the time if you have a chip or a programmer to put the car on the dyno, tune it and put the tune on your chip/prog. run about $300-400.

Yeah for 2 pulls and a dyno and tune it cost me $700 but it wasnt just a jo schmo guy hes specializes in the modular motors so yeah idk how much the dyno day thing will be sorry...

well its no tuning or anything. just 3 pulls for 50 bucks. he told me 450 for the dyno time and a 4 bank sct chip with 4 tunes.

Now i'm just hoping the dyno day goes as planned, its going to rain that day and he has a lot of outdoor stuff planned, so he might have to reschedule it, im not sure yet, ill know by tomorrow
