Question on Torque Converter..

I have the Torque Converter shudder, and replaced the fluid with mercon v and its still shuddering, so im gunna buy another one, what do you think of these two and wanna make sure they will fit my 95 GT, this is my daily driver, and a stock tranny so i dont want anything that will hurt the trans.

i seem to recall the stock stall being in the 1600-1800 range....probaly closer to 1600.

Stock stall varies but yes, 1600-1800 is the range.

When it comes to torque converters, you get what you pay for.

Don't expect a $150 converter to be strong and reliable.

I would opt for the 2200 stall but expect to pay more for a quality unit.

What is this "torque converter" you speak of. Clearly some sort of evil machine designed by a nefarious criminal mastermind.

Mechancial linkage > Viscous coupling

I have a dirty dog performance 3600 and love it still got 22 mpg daily driving and performs bad ass

I have a hughes performance heavy duty 2500 stall.

Furnace brazed, anti-balloon etc.

I don't remember what it cost...I think $500 and some change.

how much did that dirty dog one cost ya. they seem to be the most expensive but come highly recommended by the guy that did my shift kit.
