Questions about tire size/rim

Its been almost a year since I bought my 98 gt from my uncle, and it had came with some 18s. The tires read 245 40 18 all around, and I've been wondering how wide the rim was, can anyone help? Thanks in advance

Probably a 9".

Look on the back of the rim, the width is usually stamped on there

If not any tire shop should have a rim width measuring tool (looks like a big caliper)

I would say 9s since pretty much every mass produced mustang replica wheel is 9 inch wide
