I was under the hood of my car today and noticed that on the back side of my intake it says 04 in two places. It is a circle with 04 in the center and an arrow pointing between the 0^4. Every thing else such as the trans. has a circle with 96 which is the year of my car. Could my car have an 04 intake or is that even possible with out the PI heads? Intake is plastic by the way and SORRY if this is a dumb question.

Look at where the thermostat housing connects to the motor, is the piece there plastic or metal? If it is plastic then no way do you have an 04 intake since they would have the metal (aluminum) crossover

Also where on the intake are you seeing the numbers? I looked at both of my intakes and see no numbers in a circle anywhere

If your talking about the peice that the thermostat cover bolts to then it is aluminum. The peice im talking about goes behind the alternator to the other side. The #'s are located behind the plenum on the 4th tube(or whatever thats called) from the rear and the other is by the last intake bolt on the driver side behind the rear injector on a little flat spot.

Ok heres is your test,
Find the coolant crossover with the T-stat housing in it....
OK Found it?
Now look at the FIRST Intake runner immediately after that and see what side of the car it goes to.

If it goes towards the driver side it is a PI Intake
If it goes towards the passenger then its a NPI

Ok, I looked but i dont know which way it runs but it looks like it runs to the driver side but i may be backwards. The injector is on the pass. side if that helps. It looks like it starts on the pass. side(where the inj. is) and goes to the drivers side about 3/4 of the way. Sorry for sounding so dumb!
