Quick water pump question

Hey guys,
Will a 86-93 water pump fit my 94'GT?
I bought a ford racing water pump and after a little more research it looked like I needed a more specific one with the timing cover?

No, that pump will not fit with the stock 94-95 Mustang 5.0 timing cover. It will fit the Fox style timing cover. Swapping to the Fox style cover will mean changing your accessories over to Fox style stuff. You don't want to change the cover just because you have that waterpump...

All the FRPP pump is, is the same stock pump with a bearing that is better quality.

Go get a pump from AutoZone. Advance, Napa etc

If they try to pull some stupid crap that they don't have one tell them to look at the 94-95 Cobra. When i got mine @ Advance they said we don't have a GT one. So i had them look up the Cobra one and sure enough they had it. They had it labeled differently in there computer system for some reason. I have been running mine for over a year and a half now with no problems.

So i had them look up the Cobra one and sure enough they had it. They had it labeled differently in there computer system for some reason. So they can charge you more because it's for a Cobra. Ever price brakes pads for a Mach 1 vs Cobra?
