Was just looking at Duralast coil packs at autozone.com (going there later today) = $46 apiece. Seems better than rockauto's $81 for one Motorcraft pack... $$ is an issue at the moment

Got the damn CEL AGAIN last night, time to replace I don't want the light coming on every weel!

well, i had the wires go bad and break down like twice on my car and it never pointed to the missfiring cylender... just said random missfires...

And if I had to buy some more coils, wires or whatever i would go with the screemen demon ones.... they are some pretty good stuff dude.... lets you even open your gap to like .062 or more on the plug.

According to their ad's it does, I've never seen a verified gain from any of their stuff, other than in Super CHevy when it was replace 35 year old point's.

yea but i've heard good things from other stangers that used them... for like 250 ish i think its a pretty good deal.... since stock coils are around 80 to 100 dollars a piece and then wires and all... so why not

Well to update, I ended up buying the Duralast coils from autozone... $47 and change apiece. Also got a new PCV valve and some carb cleaner to try to buy a little time on my IAC. My work is cut out for me this afternoon...

Put the coils in, car fired right up no problem. Goin' out cruisin' tonight so we'll see if that CEL returns... gotta re-route these wires when the weather gets warmer though, I'm sure I have an inductive misfire somewhere. Why Ford decided to run plug wires from each bank to both coils is just nuts...
