i was installing new d/s rotors and everything went well until i was putting the last one on, the rear pass side. when i turn the caliper piston clockwise it will turn and turn and turn but it will not go down.

tomorrow i will pick up the tool that bullit1939 suggested i get to make the job easier, she also told me to take the cap off to relieve pressure, which i didnt know. im very appreciative of her being there at that particular moment and for doing what she could to help

im hoping i dont need a new caliper but howcome when i turn and turn the piston it doesntgo down just keeps turning?

i did the driverside rear with no problems, but the pass side wont go down. someone please help

wow that makes sense no wonder the one side was easier, i was using needle nose pliers and the side i couldnt get to go in i was mostly using channel locks so i was just spinning it.

well now that you have answered that for me i think this thread can be deleted
