For aesthetics mostly. I know a diffuser will have a negligible effect, especially since I don’t race or auto cross my car, but I would like to add to the look of the rear of the car.

I’ve puttered around eBay Motors and Googled here and there. Anyone running one? Or have any suggestions or recommendations?

Many thanks!

Thanks. It seems like I took those long long ago in a galaxy far far away... I finally finished some projects that friends asked for cnc/laser stuff for their cars that I got roped into and have cleaned the garage to get ready to resume work on it but mom is still going up and down and it has slowed the progress to get back in it. I am hoping to spend some time in it today as we are expecting rain. Depends on how mom feels.

Well, i think what WAS NOT said in ttocs posts is ......he didnt like the looks or offerings available for purchase from the interwebs, so he set out to build one on his own creation to achieve the look he wanted. I remembered he spent a good amount of effort building it. He made progress posts building the diffuser. Maybe he can track down the posts and link the post here

Does anyone know if the 2015-2017 ones can be made to fit and look good? I’ve been considering trying one. Decent faux carbon fiber one on aebay.

I thought it was part of the back bumper cover on the new ones? If this is the case then where there is a will, a way and enough fiberglass/body filler it could be done

from personal exp anything that is "universal" means it will fit virtually nothing. That same part is listed as fitting my subaru impreza....

That was just an example. I’ve got a Xenon rear ground effect so it would be hard to fit mine anyway.

Diffuser looks so out of place on a stock appearing sn95.
I wouldn't do it. Always reminds me of the ricers from the 90s with the park bench spoilers.
