sooooo not sure what year your car is but I had heard that cj pony parts will install frpp gears with parts/labor for $499

thats what my plan is.....

That was there March Special for there Grand opening. That is long over.

Your best bet is to Call them and speak with them on this. I am sure the prices have risen since then. Also there Labor rate is 75 an hour. So you would have to figure in 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour for the T lok rebuild and the parts which are 75 or 105 if you go with the Carbon kit. So assume another 112 to 180 to get that done also. Which if your smart why not redo it while your in there so you have piece of mind. Less labor down the road for a little more up front.

I assume thats just gears and not t-lok rebuild etc

Ask them to give you all the fine details. No doubting a good deal but also try and find people that have had theirs done there speak with them and read reviews on the net. Just do your research.

You assumed right the trac lok rebuild is not covered in that $499 price. Just reading some reviews from other places so what i said anywhere from 112 - 180. Do the Carbon disc and be done with it so you will be at the $700 price mark that most people have stated with a trac lock rebuild also.

Is there anyone you know that knows someone that can do a gear install? You could pay them on the side and save a TON of money.

Damn if I could get $600 in labor for gear changes I would quit my job and open a shop tomorrow.
