took longer then it should have b/c I ran into some unexpected problems but when does that not happen anytime work is done on the Mustang? Over all it looks good still need to vacuum it out and put the front seat back in but I'll do that tomorrow. I should have done a step by step picuture HOW TO Thread but I did not think of it until I was done but anyone doing this that has any questions feel free to PM me. This was a form fit kit it did not require any bolts or nuts to mount it, just had to pound it into place it was a very tight fit.

looks good, but does it save any weight?

I mean, removing 30 pounds and replacing it with 20 pounds seems pointless to me...lol

I wanted the cleaner look, Im sure it did save some weight, how much Im not sure. I re adjusted the back seat so it covers up the exposed red at the top, just needed to be pushed up further.

It all comes down to one thing Justin... Do you want to win or not LOL JK :rollinglaugh:

the way i see it, 10 lbs here and 10 lbs there start adding up over time. if you dont need it, get rid of it.

Thats a good looking rear seat delete, i wanna pick one up soon, theres a local guy whos on my clubs forum that makes them.

Thanks guys, I'm picking up some small velcro strips to hold the carpet in place where you can see the red paint where the bottom seat used to be attached to the car.

There two sections together are 43.0 lbs, the passengers side seat is also 43.0 lbs. I picked up the few things I need to make the install 100% done.

Have fun w/ the increased exhaust noise due to nothing to stop the sound from coming inside the car.

I read that this mod is "supposed" to remove approx. 35 lbs. Wish it was from the front instead.

I'm seriously contemplating doing this mod and relocationg the battery to the trunk on mine.

I made my own. I took a toasted rear seat, and cut the studs that pop in the holes that you have to push the buttons to release. I mounted em on the bottom of it, so it pops in and out, so its basicaly two buttons and it releases and you can put whatever you want in there.

not every kit out there will net you a savings of 35lbs it depends on which one you buy. They make one thats made out of hard plastic that is very hard but its more $$$ and I didnt want to spend that much on a delete kit, I doubt I saved 35lbs but I just wanted something that looked nice.
