Rebuilt differential break in?

Hello, I just had my diff rebuilt and im wondering if there is a break in period for the clutches?
I have the new ford racing carbon discs kit.

Others have said zero break in, my installer said 150 miles though so I went by his advice

I took it easy for like 150 miles then let her have it. No issues.

Usually gears and clutch's ( in the diff ) do not require a break in period like a clutch would. Gears require no break in just a heat cycle. Not a bad idea to put a few miles on it before you drop the hammer but I'm sure your rear end would not fall apart if you didn't.

ran mine 300 miles

I went 500 miles on a fresh rebuild then changed the fluid and proceeded to beat the balls out of it.

Just rebuilt mine with carbon clutches....no break-in....no problems

Same here. Drove 5 mins to grab some gas, went home let it cool for an hour, went and grabbed food, went home to cool down. Then romped on it lol 500 miles and everything is fine
