depending on what its for, if your talking about like an evaporative line....you can just get some bluk hose at like a napa or local parts jobber.

My buddy with a 300zx went through a vacuum line hose/fixing stretch of time. He spent loads of time and money on the regular black hose at napa or w/e. He has since switched to silicone hose, and while more expensive he has never had to replace one. Just a thought

X2.. I keep a couple feet of multiple sizes lying around, it comes in handy more times than you'd think.

yea this stuff isn't brain surgery, we replace yards of it a week at work with evaporative leaks...

I did my vac lines in 1/8"id stainless steel tubing. They look great and will probably last longer than the car.

The vaccum system? Nope, there are a lot of things that operate on the system, it has got to stay if you want your car to run or have heat in the car.

I can, it is pretty much common sense though. Take out the plastic pieces and replace them with the metal after you bend it to the appropriate shape with an inexpensive tubing bender. Prepare for SORE hands, stainless steel is "springy" and tough to bend. You can use the standard rubber pieces, just flip them over. Most of them have one small end and a big end. The big end usually fits down on the intake and the vac tubing goes in the small end. Flip these rubber fittings over so the small end goes on the intake so the bigger end is what you'll be putting in the larger metal tubing in. I can do a better write-up. I'll choose a day off and do it.
