Replacing Parking Brake Cable

    On my 95 gt do i need to secure the tensioner first to the least tensioned spot?? or just put the handle down and it should be fine? could someone experienced please shed a little more light on that it would be much appreciated.

    Just pull the handle down and you will be fine. I have replaced all my cables this way. Just use pliers to pull the cable off the calipers when the ebrake handle is down.

    Im replacing both of my cables in the next week or so. I originally bought the cables from Napa and they wouldn't work. So I would definitely suggest going with ford cables.
