So is this for when you want to build a bullet proof valve-train? I am asking because my mods are fairly simple now but I would like to oneday go some kind of forced induction(turbo probably) and would like to build a bullet-proof motor from the start. I am about to put new heads and a cam on and would consider this at the same time unless it is just a complete waste of money. opinions?

I would just get 7/16 studs and forget about it unless Your going to be hitting hi rpms alot.

I am not one to beat on my motor as I hate fixing it but on occasion I like to light them up and would just like to know that everything will hold together. Later on I would like to go to some kind of forced induction and again just want to know that it will stay together. I mean for $200 it seems like it could save a few hours labor at the least if I do get a little crazy but could possibly save a whole lot more?

I am a little suprised that more people are not using them really.

i'd doubt your valvetrain would go before the stock bottom end in a FI application. seems kinda pointless to me unless you are revving the heck out of it. $200 isn't a lot when your talking bullet proof engines, but it is about 10% of a vortech kit....

good point I guess, I am looking to get them cheaper and going under the idea that they will not cost me any hp and unfortunatly the way karma treats me if I do not get almost all the safety options, the one I miss will burn me...
