Installed some pedestal summit racing aluminum 1.7rr. Got it all back together, fitted it up to have it run like poo, played with the timing got it to run, as good as I could but couldn't see the timing marks for some reason. It didn't sound like the rockers were.connecting with the valve cover. I only used an Allen wrench to tighten them and could only get it hands tight.

Wt should I look for tomarrow? do sn95s have valve cover clearance issues?

ha I knew a guy who heard his rockers rattling one time prob from some bad gas . anyways he thought they were all loose he took off his
valve covers tightened them all down ,took it for a test drive and when the car wasn't acting right he stomped on it and blew the motor.
I was surprised it even cranked.

well if you did not go through the correct procedure/sequence for adjusting the valves, I think you found your problem.

You have to shim the rockers like said and tighten them in a sequence or else your wasting your time and going to cause lots of issues
