I've got a Teksid block, P.I. heads, P.I. intake, and valve covers. I'm going to put this motor together hopefully this year, but I need all the internals and I've decided that if I'm going to go I'm going to go all out. Who has the best prices on 5.0 stroker kits? I've checked several places, but wanted to see if there was some place that maybe I had missed. Also, who do you prefer brand wise? :headbang:

Well, I am not a fan of livernois. I have a stroker kit I assembled for a customer sitting at my shop. It's been a nightmare so far. Lets just leave it at that. Great price, but you get what you pay for. coast high ftmfw

Really? My stroker kit came from there and worked out great, although that has been several year's now.

Alot of these places use the same part's anyway.

I plan on going with MMR for their MOD 900 rotating assembly within the next few months. It comes with their MMR forged steel crank, Manley h beam rods, arp 2000 bolts, manley pistons, pins, and bearings. All for $1700. can't beat it. Only $125 for notched pistons as well

After everything was said and done it ended up around 2K for mine shipped to SC, so make sure to plan for that. Also try to get it balanced there if you are building it yourself :) Look over in my build thread if you want to see the assembly ;)

I suggested Livernois because he mentioned wanting a stroker. Livernois uses a different spec piston and pin location on their stroker instead of the off the shelf pistons. 4.6's are known to have piston wobble at BDC due to the piston coming out of the bore to far and the Livernois stroker kit helps cure that.

Yeah i was simply making the generic general point also...

For instance, many places use Kellogg cranks, etc.
