running rich...

so the 94 gt auto is running rich pretty bad when ever i start the car the damn exhaust is popping like popcorn fresh from the movies and misfiring for about 2 mins but then after that it seems ok which is pretty weird the only upgrade i have is a 2.5 exhaust xpipe flowmaster dumps with no cats but have no clue where to get started on finding the problem just wanted to know what are the
top 5 where running rich come from on my side

meant to say what are the top 5 problems on running rich on only this upgrade that i have which i know isnt

Whens the last time you checked the 02 sensors and cleaned your maf?

My exhaust popped when I had a o/r pipe too.
And like you went away after warmed up also when down shifting while slowing down.
The cats act as a muffler to quiet it down.

cleaned the maf a week ago but never checked the o2 sensors how can i tell if they need to be replaced
or if there no good
