Since you want to keep bringing the new 7.3 pushrod engine and my name up, I’ll comment. It doesn’t prove anything except years of small displacement OHC engines weren't that great for making useable, low end torque associated with towing.

That’s it.

We will have to agree to disagree on this. I have no desire to discuss it further.

came across this by accident today and just thought i'd comment. I have some custom cams that are made to rev to 7k and I'll be running them with ported pi heads and better springs, etc. But the stock PI intake will go to 8k NA just fine.
