Would a HCI 5.0 with say a 150 shot be quick enough to beat an 07 gsxr on some freeway pulls? A buddy in my fraternity just picked up a new bike last week and has been ranting and raving about how fast it is blah blah blah. He's too chicken to run me in his Cobalt SS, but I'm sure he's arrogant enough to dick around on his bike.

Before anyone comes in here with the save it for the track etc etc, I know for a fact there no way i'd beat him at the track with my car on stock block so I wont bother. This is mostly hypothetical but I'd like to know if it would even be possible for me to stand a chance.

600...probably not. 1100....no way.
maybe but even the 750's are fast cus there so much lighter than the .
This was on a gixxer forum .

if all the same year and you're talking about the most recent bikes, the 0-60 times should be at or around 3 seconds, 1/4 for the 600 should be high 10's/low 11's, 1/4 for the 750 should be low/mid 10's and 1/4 for the 1000 should be low 10's/high 9's (dunno if that's COMPLETELY stock, but I've seen some people run 9's with a stock motor 1000) top speed on the 600 is limited at 167, i think the 750 and 1000 are limited at 186 i'm pretty sure

Here's a solution....

Convince him to race his Cobalt against my seemingly stock VW for pinks
I sell his car and split the money with you
Boost your car
beat him on his bike
bang his girl

Everyone wins!

600,750 or the 1000 you will get smoked. 600cc sport bikes run close to if not 10's stock

No chance unless the bike driver sucks really really really bad. Even the 600 should be good for high 10's like others have said.

That still wont do much. You would need that plus 10 PSI ( or a huge shot of NO2) Aftermarket heads (worked over), custom cam, nice flowing intake. Pretty much you need a sub 10.5 car to even start to compete with street bikes ( 600cc - 1000cc )

Just consider it a fleeting thought and forget about it, focus your goals on taking on things that are a lot more realistic. I had a CBR 600 RR back in 05/06 and they are fast......insanely fast
