I used the seafoam in the tank. It said the whole bottle treats 8 to 25 gallons so I filled halfway up, then put the bottle of seafoam in the tank, then filled the rest of the way up.

I bought another bottle to do the brake booster hose treatment. On my 94 the brake booster hose just connects to that little hub that I'm sure you've all seen. So I just disconnected the big intake hose from the hub and used that. As people have said to do, I just poured about 2/3 of the bottle in slowly while the engine was running at operating temp. But, it occurs to me that its really only going to be able to treat the back 4 cylinders. They sell a spray in throttle body cleaner. But the words "throttle body cleaner" kinda put me off. As in, its made to clean the throttle body. Only.

Is it just called that, and its really made to do the exact same thing that the regular seafoam does?

I don't know. I heard something about the stock intakes on these cars suffering from front two cylinder air starvation or something. Guess it wouldn't really matter either way. Don't know why I was thinking that. Oh well. On to my next question:

I want to do the oil system treatment with seafoam. I've heard some people fixing rattling lifters and cleaning out gunk with it. How much should I dump into the oil? How long should I let it run that way? One guy told me he dumped in a whole can and then drove 20 miles. That seems a little... extreme to me.

I've never used sea foam but I once once told is really not a good idea to knock all that stuff loose cus it has to go somewhere like all the carbon on the valves what if it goes inside the cylinder bore..

If you want to clean the injectors hooking up to the schraeder valve on the fuel rail works good.
