I'm just curious if anyone knows of any above average seat covers available for these cars? I'm gonna put s197 seats in this upcoming winter more than likely so I don't want to replace the seats quite yet but my driver seat is about 45% duct tape so I gotta do something. Willing to spend a good chunk of change on a decent set of covers. Drop any suggestions or insight below!!

Checkout TMI. Look at their vinyl covers. They're cheaper but very nice. They sell covers and foams as well if you were to change to a different foam shape like a mach 1 01 cobra or and 03 04 cobra shape

if the budget can allow for it check out katzkin. They will be higher than most but we put them in my dads car 2 years ago now and I have not been more impressed with how well the color matched, and how well it has held up. Dad has 2 bad hips so he kind of falls into the seat and the slides over and at 240 lbs the bolster took a hell of a beating when the stock material was on it. The hole that developed was why we did it and I figured that he would wear another hole in the leather in a year or so. They use leather that is MUCH nicer than any other brand I have seen and like I said it has held up really well....

They have a few different designs for our cars and they are super nice to deal with.

Try refitting a passenger seat skin to drivers side. They are usually in good shape. Tip: if the foam has collapsed hit it with a steamer and it will go back to OEM.
