Im lookin for some seats for my 98 gt, my stockers are a bit worn and ide really like a good lookin light weight race seat in my car. Only problem is i dont like the idea of spending 8 or 900 dollars on a set of seats, does anyone have pics of their seats, what brands, how durable are they, material quality, all opinions are welcome. lookin for something in the 400 or 500 dollar range.

I wouldnt mind a kirky seat on a gutted race car but i really want a sporty seat for my daily driver. I looked up the Hunsaker seats after i read about them on a recent thread, ive got some money saved up and wanted to hear some first hand opinions about them and other brands.

They are pricey though, so they may not be what you want...........

Put some nice Mach 1 seats in it...I love those seats!

If your not too keen on weight savings, this is a good way to go (Mach1, Bullitt or 01, 03, 04 Cobra). Proper headrests, side bolsters and firm, but comfy seat cushions - plus they look great. Check your local forum classifieds, craigslist for the best deals.

Corbeaus could be purchase for something like 750 with all the mounting stuff and they will be new. For the price they are actually very durable and hold up very well. Stay away from E-bay seats for the most part. The frame is cheap and flexes a lot. Not the safest alternative. I've got Sparcos in my car, but only because I've got them for half price (craigslist rocks)
