I got mine from GT Concepts for just under $50. I think this is the same ad:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mustang-Sequential-Taillights-96-97-98-99-00-01-02-03-4-/320530587123?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Car_Audio_Video&hash=item4aa11c9df3

Took me a little while to install them but that's just because I like to take my time and be sure I get everything done right the first time. Like adrift said, make sure you have good contacts or you could end up with erratic blinking. If you end up going with these, I'd be more than happy to help you if you have any questions.

from what im getting, and correct me if im wrong, but all id have to do is buy the harness' for a 96-98 mustang

I do not know how the 94-95 harness compares to the 96-98 harness. LRS specifying "96-98" in the link you posted leads me to believe that they are not the same. Make sure you get a left side harness and a right side harness if you're really looking to buy them. It would not be too hard to find them used, and it would definitely be cheaper, so look around forum classifieds and eBay.

"This set of two Smoked Raxiom Tail Lights are specifically designed to be a direct fit replacement on the 1996 to 1998 V6 or GT Ford Mustang with no extra wiring modifications required." Since those are a direct replacement for 96-98 tail lights, the 96-98 harnesses will plug right into those housings.

now the tricky part which confuses the hell out of me, will the "plug-n-play" work for mine or am I gunna have to splice it? if its plug n play doesnt that just mean its another harness to replace the harness i just bought?
I can't speak for how plug-n-play kits work because I've never used one.

As for the non plug-n-play one I posted: in the case of the 94-95 harnesses, the kit may work but the lights obviously will be going up or down depending on the order you install the kit. I have a feeling you're asking about how it'll work with the 96-98s. With the kit I posted, it comes with two of these:
5672.gif

There is one for each side. The actual kit pieces are red, not beige, because they are for a different gauge of wire. When you read the directions, you'll see these pieces do all the actual "splicing" for you. I do believe you'll have to cut a wire or two, but nothing overly complicated. Again, let me know if you go with the kit I posted and I'll be glad to help you work through it.

its crazy.. i coppied some guys setup to the detail. except i got a plug that slowed it down... somehow i could not use load resistors.. but he could. So mine is the same speed as his.. If i could get it to work it would be the speed of the new '10s.. and would look perfect.. but still looks good.. i dont have a vid but ill show u his...

Got them at Autotrix.net(the sequential part.. bought the LED bulbs on ebay along with the load resistors i have yet to work).. They have a plug and play kit that costs more but would make it easier for you and you wont have to cut wires like me.

here is what his setup looks like(what mine looks like)

I have 'em in my '98. It's probably my favorite appearance mod I've done. It's kind of subtle with how fast they "sequence", but that's kind of the way I like it. It's not really noticeable at first, but when you DO see it, you kind of get hypnotized by it. I figure it gives those poor saps stuck behind me at the red light something neat to look at.

i got mine on eBay a couple years back for just over $50 shipped. It was the splice-in kit, but I soldered mine so it won't corrode and stop working some day. Comes with an extra pin for the "inside" bulbs in the row, so all three bulbs can light up. (It always kind of irritated me that the lights had three sections, all three had dual-element bulbs, but only two lit up for brakes/turns...)

Very easy to follow step-by-step instructions. There are also other kits you can buy (that cost a lot more) that are a complete tail light harness. You just unplug your existing one inside the trunk, plug the new one in, and you're done! Those can be had from a variety of sources, including MustangsUnlimited.

If you can do that, you can install this kit. It's extremely easy. The longest part of doing this is seriously just taking the tail lights OFF your car. The wiring is super simple.

I second that. The instructions are pretty straight-forward and we'll help you out if you get stuck.
