shampood carpets.... found a suprise

hey guys i havent shampood this carpet since i got the car almost 2 yrs ago. it was pretty nasty. also had a heatercore explode, which is why the carpet is greenish and heavily soiled in spots. theres still some coolant soaked into the insulation underneath, im planning on getting a black carpet evenutally anyhows.

pulled back the carpet and found a little suprise.

not the change, look a little closer if you havent noticed it already!

haha poor little rodent, wonder how long he was in there.

anways heres some before/ after pics i snapped.

not MUCH of a difference but better... like i said ill be doing an all black interior swap soon... so it wont really matter how clean this one is.

lol i have NO clue. maybe it was in there while the car was being assembled it was smothered by the carpet? thats my best guess

well I dont even want to know what some people would find stashed under their carpets, but a dead mouse is surely unique. Does that mean this mummified thing is like 14 years old? or how did it go there?!

As for the interior, i like that cream color, just seems impossible to keep it clean, sadly.. great car!

when i pulled the carpet out of my car i found a used crack pipe directly under the drivers seat.

i cant understand how it got there. it seemed nearly impossible. it was right in the center of where the seat track would bolt, and it was right of the metal and besides being a little chipped, it was intact. kinda feaked me out because i had the car for 2 years before i found it.

ive seen some pretty creative ways of hiding shit, but thats a first. that would take a good half hour to get to it...
in my old fox, it didnt have any speakers so i just hid my shit in the speaker holes lol. the spare tire area is just over used.

maybe they stuck it through the hole where the wires poke through under the seat for the controls?/ lumbar? unless your car doesnt have this. but thats strange lol.

i found this when i did my intake swap.

it was right under the intake elbow.
