As far as 05 + mustangs go, ive said it before and ill continue to say it, i love the saleen, roush, shelby. And while they are good performers, i think the GT's need too many mods to look good.

I'm not a fan of the S197 cars. I'd take an SN95/New Edge Cobra over the GT500 any day, especially at that price.

I know a guy that just spent $65k on a new shelby. Its pretty sweet . grabber orange with black stripes. I think it will be worth alot of money someday, but i too, prefer the 03 cobra to the new shelby. Half the price, and they haul some major ass. I took a ride in my buddies 03 cobra on my wedding day. The song "get me to the church on time" never made sense to me untill then. :thumb:

my friend's dad picked up one of the first gt500 verts in the country for about 15k over then flipped it for over $20k over. making it over $70k. i really could care less for it. if i'm paying $70k i'm going to head straight for a c6 z06.

04 Cobra is a mans car, in a reachable affordable price, the GT500 is a collectors car. Alot will rott with low miles. It may have more power, not much, but it still weighs more making it probably less fun to drive against a modded Cobra with an improved suspenion. Lighter is always gonna be alot more fun to throw around.

I would never pay that much for a shelby (unless it was an original 1969 gt500)
