Today I installed a pro5.0 shifter, love the shifter and it shifts great but i have developed a vibration that is coming from the trans area that is shaking my steering wheel but not the shifter that was not there before the shifter install. What could have happened during the install to cause this?

Your car is possessed by a rare demon and needs an excorsism. I could recommend a good priest if you dare. Lol, just kidding, don't know of anything that would cause a vibration with a shifter install. Unless the shifter is for a different trans, should be a T5 shifter, not for a 3650. The 3650 has a longer bottom shaft with the ball on it that goes into the plastic cup inside the trans. That's the only thing I could ever think of that would cause any problems and I don't think you could even get it to fit with the wrong shifter.

^^^^^^I think that may have been the problem, she feels great now. And the T-45 dont have the plastic ball on the end of the shifter like the 3650. I remember when I put the MGW in my 01 cobra I had to take that plastic cup of the factory shifter and put it on the new one.

Nah, I've had quite a few apart, they have it stuck down into the shifter piece that goes on the selector rod. It's made down it into it. I don't know how the shifter would hit the body or cause your steering wheel to vibrate and not the shifter.

yeah i meant it does not have the black cup on the bottom of the shifter, the T-45 has it in the selector, its kinda a white looking cup.

Exactly, that not being there could cause a vibration I guess, if it was not moving it completely out of gear into neutral.
