shorty header install

just got done putting some bbk shorty headers on my 01 gt conv the intstructions that came with them are useless i ended up pulling the k member out made life so much easier

thats the best way! damn 4.6's are an inch wider than 460's. They don't allow for much play. haha

Anytime I need to work on the motor, it gets dropped. Oil change, air filter ..everything, just gets dropped out the bottom no matter what the service is.

i saw the bbk gaskets are generic looking and bought some percy's alum gaskets so i wouldnt have any problems

if you use locktite or use the bothersome stage 8 locking bolts they dont usually come out.

i bet them stage 8 locking bolts would be a pain in the ass to put on there

they are with the tubes looping in the way of getting a tool on them. long tubes are a little better. i just stuck to regular hex bolts. 8mmx1.25

in order to put shorty headers do i have to drop the motor on my 96' GT?????
Or will it be easier putting on long tube headers

take the k member out it makes it alot easier to get to the bolts
