Should I buy it??

Well, i sold the S-10 as a roller and got some cash to play with. I came across a 1999 GT A/T w/cloth int and 67K on the clock...... it is MINT, not a door ding to be seen. Only down-fall is it has that ugly ass grey seats in it, but that can be rectified. I have a TON of parts just sitting waiting for the 96, but I love the edge style more. I can pick the car up for $6500 cash, should I jump on it and just sell the 96?? I know this is a SN forum, but I dont know what to do and you guys LOVE your mustangs, so help me decide.

If you like the newer body style better sell the 96... I am sure most of the parts will be able to go onto the 99, they're basically the same car.

Yeah, I am too split between buying the 99 and selling the 96, or keeping the 96 and dropping my SBC into it and pocketing the $6500 for other things?

$6500 is far cheaper than any new edge GT I've seen. I'd get it.

I was thinking the same thing, but here is my thought, I got the extra money, and I NEED to spend it or I will slowly blow it on dumb sh*t (im a very impulsive buyer) so I AM going to buy the 99, and keep both stangs till spring, then either I will sell the 96, or trade both for a 03-04 Mach...... I just want to make sure I still got the money when spring time rolls around.

nice find the 99 and 01's are getting very reasonable in price now-a-days i say some nice wheels and smoked headlights and shes a keeper

very true. I would trade mine for a newer gt only if It was the exact same : black on black leather 5 spd with low miles

but they're too expensive
