I currently have a s281 spolier on my 95 but its the saleen one that doesn't fit that well. Also it wasn't painted that well when it was installed and has fish eyes and bubbles and on the bottom side of the spolier that faces the bumper you can see the black urethane through the white because of the poor paint coverage. I was thinking of painting the wing matte black for now since I plan on getting a kaenen s281 when I get my car repainted since it fits better anyway. I was just wondering how you guys think it looks and if it would be a good idea? Looks pretty good on that car ^^. I think it'd work with your set-up.

I did mine in Semi-gloss black. lemme find some pics. its not the S281 wing, but gives you an idea. Also, if you are gonna sell your S281, lemme know... I use the car for the track, so fitment isnt a big deal.. besides, the real Saleen hood doesnt fit right either.

I see the Kaenan one on ebay all the time, is that where you guys get yours? Soo, someone school me here, Saleen is the one who designed he S281 wing, and theirs fits like crap? lol. Cool, well I'm glad to have found that out! I'm taking my spoiler off after I get my wheels, and either filling the holes, or getting a 281 wing.

The authetic saleen one is poly urethane and is flexed out of shape 90% of the time.

with the license plate frame and the bumper insert the same color it would not look too bad. Don't forget the bumper letters to match as well.

I agree that the black would look good, especially since your taillights are black too.

Not only was my saleen s281 mis-shaped when i installed it, it only has two mounting screws instead of four like the factory and frickin mounts with double sided tape. I was pissed when i recieved it because no one told me about all that garbage. Anyone who is getting a saleen product, use this as a warning

The Kaenan uses 4, all Saleens to m knowledge use the tape and two bolts.
