my 97 rio red 97 sixxer for a 00 amazon green v6? The guy seems like a nice/good guy and i've wanted to get a splitport (99-04 v6) for a long time. It's an auto just like mine. It's not a convertible but neither is mine.

There's 4 downside's to this car
1. His interior is two toned and mine's all black
2. I don't like his shifter thing and boot
3. It doesn't have a wing
4. His car has a lot of miles

Here's what his ad said at 3.8
F/S 2000 Mustang V-6
Ok i have a 2000 Mustang V-6 for sale. Has 188000 miles. Despite the mile the car is in great shape the interior, exterior, and even the engine are all very clean and in great condition. Runs great. Has Cai, Exhaust, tinted windows,New plugs and wires, New brakes, and it has stock wheels with brand new tires. Im wanting $4500 for it. For $5000 I'll throw my bullits on. There brand new with new tires to.

I have saleens so no need for rims. Just waiting on tires

here are some pics to help you decide

Exterior (says it's in perfect condition)

Motor (has 188,000 miles  but says it's all interstate and in great cond.)

Is it a good deal to trade or do i say forget it and keep the 97?

personally... I don't like that color... secondly thats a whole lotta damn miles... thirdly, if you pay an additional $500 for bullitts and tires i will fly to wherever you're from and punch you in the face.

i have saleens waiting on tires so i don't need his bullitts.

I pm'ed him and told him that i just couldn't do it because he had too many miles and i like my black interior more than his two tone

Keep your 97 :thumb:

another vote to keep the 97!

If you want a spilt port 3.8 motor, find one from the wreckers and rebuild it.....or find a 4.2L V6 motor from an F-150 (basically a stroker 3.8L)...

Lots of info out there on these V6s believe it or not....

we were going to rebuild the motor in my six later but if we trade then i'll just rebuild the motor in the 2000. you think that'll take care of the mileage problem?

I'd keep the '97 and put a 4.2L out of a truck in it... then add some different rims (if whats in your sig is still on it)

OOOOOORRRRRRRRR.... if you're going to rebuild it, find you a wrecked SVT contour... they have a 3.8 in them, and the guts to that are all forged. you can run spray or boost then with no worries...
