Side Exhausts?

Hey I'm looking for a side exhaust for my '97 v6, I'm looking for something, I can't find anything, roush has quit manufacturing theirs, and I can't seem to find any others, I would hope for one for a v8 because I'm planning on getting the dual adapter from AM so that it is a fairly straightforward installation to the v8 that I'm hopefully able to afford someday, but for right now as an 18 year old straight outta high school I won't be able to afford the v8 yet, just looking to add some deep sound to my car, yeah it sounds a little ricey but I love the sound of the v8's, anyways, any help is greatly appreciated.

Spintech makes side exhaust mufflers.
summitracing has the v8 side exhaust.
magnaflow offers a muffler that can be used with side exhaust http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=8065

spintech is the only one who offers a bolt up to the stock y-pipe.
you can use a side exhaust made for a v8 if you use either a Mac O/R h pipe or a Pypes catted or O/R x pipe

will the side exhausts off of a 99-04 fit or will the newer body styling affect the length?

the wheelbase was the same, so it shouldnt.

my exhaust is from an 04, but i dont have side exhaust

Another thing you can do is go to your local muffler shop & find out how much it will cost to get a custom side exit exhaust like i did. I got a custom flowmaster side exit exhaust system and it sound really good. People think my mustang is a GT cause of the sound. I spent less than 600 bucks and got a custom H pipe. Good luck with ur search. :headbang:

So from what it seems it might just be cheaper to go with having 'em custom made then?

The exhaust was made all @ the exhaust shop. But i told the guy where n how i wanted the tips to look and angle. The best money i have invested on the car. Looks and sounds super great. Worth every penny.
