silver vs hypercoated saleens vs chrome....need help!

i think i have narrowed it down to 18" saleens for the cobra. just not sure what finish to go with.

i bought the car with the chrome r's on it and never really fell in love with them. just not a huge fan of chrome :dunno:

although i dont like chrome so much, chrome saleens look amazing! i am trying to find the a finish in between chrome and silver. will hypercoated fit the bill? i have not seen great pics of hypercoated saleens on a sn95. some pics they look too dark and some they look perfect. are they brighter depending on how the sun hits it?

i think a little darkness in them will look great with my boi smoked headlights and tints once i get them. im just worried the hypercoated will just look too dirty..

ive always liked silver but it might be to plain :dunno:


some pics would be great! even better if they are rio red cars with saleens!

Don't have pics but I've seen hypercoated saleens on rio red cars and they look great O0 Especially good if you have black/smoked accents, tinted windows, etc.

no doubt silver looks good, however hypercoated or darker wheels look good on red paint also. :dunno:

yea, i am going for a more racey look but not too much of that.

i do have darker accents, this is why im thinkin hypercoated.

just wish someone had them around me so i could bolt em up and get a better idea. u never see hypercoated and i think this is why i am drawn to it. i want somthing different...

Red cars look good with nearly any type of rim, even black rims which really only go well with certain colors.

... but on a Rio Red car I think silver wheels look the best. Snakebit had hypercoated wheels on his Cobra.

Sorry I should've clarified. Yes they are Saleen knockoffs, both of my sets are. I refuse to pay the price for real Saleen ones, when the knockoff's are a fraction of the cost. I got both my sets from local tire supplier, but they are the same as the ones that Oewheelsdirect.com sells
