Lmao ouch, low blow man, low blow! How do you think I feel going into work and having to see it sitting in the bodyshop line of cars to be fixed, it hurts man. It's kind of funny because my numbers from racing are still on the windshield too, never had time to clean them offCanaryGT said:You know what makes your car even slower? SH*T, if they can be fast, I need to get to work and quit driving this SRT. lmao

Still think I will keep the black stripe, breaks up all the yellow imo.

I personally was tired of driving my car after one month. The whole makin alot of noise while not really going anywhere got old quick..
I had two BMW's both 95's. One was a M3 and the other was a foreign 318i Sedan 4cylinder turbo. Both cars sucked off the line about like my stang but at 20+mph punch they would walk my stang a few football fields.. And anything at 70+mph the stang wouldnt have had a prayer..
Thats all going to change real soon when i get my top end back on. But come TAX time if i cant get the wife to want a a Stang then she wants another BMW. Preferably the 94-98 3 series.
Bolt-ons? Turbos and Sc's are bolt-ons and u can easily smoke a Luxury or hi end sports car with one...
But , headers, heads, intakes, tuners, and stuff like that will only keep u on their tale longer.
U need lots of boost or more cubes to compete.
No matter how great you think that Auto shifts (Even with A Race Ready and Stall Auto) you still put down less HP and TQ then a manual car of the same exact specs. Its simple.....less loss of power through the drivetrain, a torque converter is always going to lose more power then a direct clutch. Also you can really rev out that motor to the max ( I have no rev limiter)

*sigh*....
Its simple as the this. The AOD sucks out of the box. Not all autos. So don't group them together just yet. Put a moderately built C-4 behind your current motor as it sits...which would be a fraction of the cost of ANY manual built to handle a decent amount of abuse and it WILL go faster than your manual...time after time regardless of what a chassis dyno says. Not saying a manual CAN'T be fast....I've run 10s with mine and loved every minute of it but the fact of the matter is, an auto PROPERLY BUILT is gonna be quicker...EVEN THOUGH it dynos lower....it will be quicker. Don't get wrapped up around dyno numbers...they don't mean everything.

I know Stall Built Autos can be nasty but I think I would get bored after awhile with a slushbox. Manuals are more fun around winding roads, being able to burn the tires in 4th (No Ghey Braking then reving up and sitting there smoking the tires and then burning out...im talking you are trying to move forward but the tires just can hold the street with how fast the tires are moving and with so much tq.) Yes I have still seen some nasty burn outs with Autos but there is something I love about seeing a car leaving strips, changing gear....new strips....changing gear new strips then going past the road and going damn look at that lol. I know it sounds dumb but I love it. I have seen some real miracles with manuals even near stock. (I remember watching the first videos of the C6 Vette 6 speed when it first was showing up and they had some guy that made that thing sound like it had an F1 transmission and clutch setup hahah) Well I'll just say I love manuals until I get stuck in bumper to bumper traffic then I wish I had tip tronic ha.

Smokey burn outs do little to impress me. Spinning ain't winning...and if you're laying patches in 4th...you should probably re-evaluate your tire and suspension situation....case and point again....more to going fast than just building power.

Those can also probably answer what a stroker motor CAN do...too bad I couldn't spin the tires over in 4th gear...
I'll be going MID 9s....soon...with an auto.

My point is if you can smoke your tires into 2nd or 3rd then you have problems. Those guys that can burn their tires off like that are getting smoked by the guys that dont have that problem.
With the price of tires now a days. I dont want wheel spin.............. Ever!

Doesn't always mean their is something wrong in some cases....like "TOO MUCH HP or TQ" with not the right Tire, Slick, Suspension , Traction Bar, Torsion bar, etc. I have seen cars with slicks that are built for the track and have a train sized blower (That's where blowers came from) and he could smoke them in just about any gear he wanted and she had a stall I believe with Auto. Does that mean he has something wrong going on? LOL you guys crack me up how serious you get on some topics...its the internet people......chill
