I just picked up a 03 GT Motor with 51 K on it. I'll be getting it within the next month or so. I propose a challenge. I have picked out what I want to do for my car but I want to get your guys input. T

Challenge build 2V motor with as much HP as possible for under $3500. No EBAY or Craigslist, it needs to be from a store. The Winner with get bragging rights and able to say they help build my motor. I may not use the exact set up but we'll see. I also think it it will be interesting to see what some people come up with

The motor needs an intake manifold so that must be included. Other then that its up to you.

Extra points to those who plan for boost in the future.

How much better do they flow as opposed to PI heads?

A lot, I would say trickflow heads, p 51 intake, and a custom set of stg 2 or 3 cams

From the early reports, a lot more. They cost the same as my StII Fox Lake prepped PIs but are so much nicer. A complete redesign of the chamber and valve location. If i ever get a serious itch to up my project i would get them for sure.

I'm trying to stay away from the giggle juice because I don't see the track enough. NA HP is super reliable so I want to stick with that.

Im thinking:
TF heads
Fox Lake P51 intake
75mm TB
Custom Cams
Long Tubes
JLT CAI
Upgraded ignition and cooling goodies.

Hows that sound?

p51 is a power adder intake it wont make as much or help out as much as you think unless you get some extra air to take up the extra room of the p51

if it was me i would just send the heads out to fox lake or modular head shop get them worked good valves and springs, get some stage 2 or 3 cams from comp 234* 232* ? i think ... and see if you can pick up a good set of flat top pistons, get some long tubes and your stock pi intake manifold THEY ARE THE BEST FOR THE MONEY, after that just exhaust pullies255 walbro and the other stupid bolt on stuff... trash your seat but an aluminum kirkey gut the car and youll see 12.5's with slicks or more if you drive it and have a good track
