Molding in the licence plate box to the truck lid?

Nah I thought about it but with everything else I'm doing to the back i thought it would look too plain, plus most of the ones I've seen usually crack back open after a while...I'm deleting the emblem and holes as well as the keyhole and 3rd brake light and it's a wingless trunk lid. I'm also gonna smooth the rear bumper

Today's update so far...almost everything is done but paint and now everyone on the forum pretty much knows all the extras from the pics, also the car should be completely done sometime next week!

Dude it would be awesome (to me atleast) if you did your mirrors similar to Tony's...just to break up the white a little.

Everything else looks great though! I know you're psyched. What made you change your mind from the other color scheme you talked about? Idk how many others you let in on that one.

I thought about that but I'd rather not fake it, they look great on Tony's car tho...and the other color idea was because at that time I was thinking I was gonna have to start over with a fresh roller and the one I had lined up was two toned and I was gonna dip it...didn't think a fresh paint job was gonna be able to be in the budget

Keeping the 3rd brakelight then?

Yea decided to do another idea that I've only seen done once, it will be painted to match the car but a lighter coat so that you can still see it light up thru the paint when hitting the brakes

Glad you decided not to smooth the trunk lid licence plate holder. I've never really been a fan of that. I just dont think it looks natural. Can't wait to see this thing done man!

And just throwing this out there, if I could paint my car again, I would take the sail panel off of the car and spray it separately. Theres a rubber seal in between the quarter panel and the sail panel and when that gets sprayed over, it will eventually crack since that rubber can move, and the paint on the quarter can chip off where it meets that rubber seal

Yea it looks too plain with it done and also most of the ones I have seen end up cracking after a while, they aren't taking everything off because the car is already white so no need to do all the cutting in on everything
